I am a Real Estate consultant helping my clients understand and carefully complete the largest financial transaction of their lives. As an engineer, I understand numbers and can draw solid conclusions based on current and projected market data. My year in the business I helped six people buy or sell their home; approximately $2.5M in Real Estate. Two of these transactions were trades, which is a creative concept I developed to sell an expensive home in a down market. When you list your home with me, I believe you are entrusting me to sell your home. I take this trust very seriously and sold 80% of my listings last year.
I retired from the United States Air Force in 1998 after a career as an Acquisition Officer. My experience leading integrated product teams and managing multi-million dollar programs in the USAF provided me the knowledge and skills to pursue a second career with high-tech small businesses. In business, I managed programs working with engineers and scientists to implement business development strategies resulting in new customers and expanded markets. The products we developed helped America’s Warfighters defend our country.
My wife Lisa and I celebrated 30 years of marriage this summer. Our two children, Stephanie and Adam came back to Albuquerque with their families to help us celebrate. Being a grandparent is one of the highlights of our lives. Adam and Jenny have two precious children, Ethan & Emma and Stephanie and Chris have a beautiful daughter Leah. As with most grandparents, we just wished they lived closer.
As a Christian my wife Lisa and I attend Grace Church, where God has called me to be an Elder. God has blessed Lisa and I with many opportunities to serve including leading a small group focused on marriage ministry. Jesus has commanded me to put the needs of others ahead of my own and I strive to do this on every Real Estate transaction.
I graduated from the University of Illinois in 1989 with a Bachelors Degree in Astronautical Engineering and continue to follow my Illini in both football and basketball. As with all good Illini fans, we had high hopes this year of making it to the Rose Bowl. Unfortunately, Ohio State had other ideas.
In my spare time you will find me on the golf course hitting them “long & straight”. Golf is a lot like life. Sometimes everything is working and you can’t believe how easy everything is. The drives are flying, the irons are tight and the putts are dropping. Sometimes nothing is working and you have no idea what went wrong. The drive is slicing, the iron shots are landing in the sand and you couldn’t make a putt to save your life. As with life, we get to take the good with the bad, play the ball as it lies and keep coming back for one more round. |
