Karen brings years of real estate experience and a tireless work ethic to the team. Perhaps her strongest suit is what her clients call intuition—Karen’s innate ability to find the ideal home for each family. Add to that her knowledge of Albuquerque and her willingness to listen to client’s needs and wants, and you have a truly effective real estate partner.
As a Certified Residential Specialist, Karen knows every area of the city, all types of construction, builders, subdivisions, schools, and much more. She puts it all to work for each client, helping them narrow down where they want to live and find the perfect home quickly.
Karen is a true people person who enjoys doing and learning new things every day, so real estate was a natural choice. While studying at UNM, she worked in a real estate office and knew she’d eventually work in the field. After graduating, she took a 10-year detour through health care marketing and public relations, a background that serves her well as a Realtor.
Karen worked at a large real estate firm for five years before joining Vista Encantada. She joined the firm because the team shares her willingness to try new things for clients and her focus on customer service.
Karen gives back to her profession and her community as an active member of several professional and community organizations, including the NM CRS Chapter and the American Heart Association. A recent accomplishment is the completion of a ½ Marathon in January 2009 to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
